Cream of Broccoli Soup

2 large heads broccoli
1-1/2 c chicken broth
2 T butter
4 T flour
1/2 t dried marjoram
1/4 t salt
1 c milk
~wash and rough cut broccoli.
~steam until bright green.
~drain and set aside to cool.
~melt butter in a med sauce pan.
~add in flour and stir. (it will be very thick).
~stir in spices.
~whisk in milk and broth all at once, until smooth.
~cook until it thickens up.
~thoroughly chop broccoli and stir into soup.
~heat through.

serves 2-ish.
