Ginger Tea

Here it is, I found it!
It is for tea, not lemonade, which is what threw me off!

2 qts water
1/3 c fresh ginger, peeled and rough chopped
1/3 c lemon juice
1/4 c honey
4 reg sized green tea bags
1 c sugar

~bring to boil and simmer 5".
~remove from heat.
~add tea bags.
~cover and steep 5".
~remove tea bags.
~stir in sugar.
~allow mixture to cool completely.
~pour through a wire strainer into a pitcher.
~serve over ice.

Note: the recipe actually calls for 1-1/2 c of sugar, and i think that even 1c is too sweet.
So, there you have it. The sugar is yours to measure.
