12 oz evaporated milk
1 c oats
1 c cracker or bread crumbs
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 t garlic powder
2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
2 t chili powder
2 c catsup
1 c brown sugar
~add all the the first group of ingredients to a big bowl.
~smosh it all together with your hands. (take off that pretty engagement ring or you will have a nice layer of beef smooshed into all the nooks and crannies!!)
~roll into balls, big or small.
~mix the catsup and brown sugar together.
~generously glaze meatballs.
~bake on a cookies sheet for 1 hr at 350.
~freeze what you don't use (without the glaze), but putting them on cookies sheets, not touching each other. When frozen, transfer to a ziplock bag.
Note: a 1/2 recipe of the glaze will do about 10-12 large meatballs.
